Description
Technical Specifications
API 6D Full Port Swing Check Valves, like all Check Valves, are primarily used to transport flow in a single direction. As its name denotes, this type of check valve has a swinging disc at the center that allows or blocks media flow. That’s full port design due to some pipeline need pigging, and BS1868 standard check valve is not suitable for it.
A swing check valve is often used in sewage systems and firefighting operations. It is also designed to handle different types of media flow, including gasses and liquids.
